Places we visit in the Sacred Valley of the Incas Tour

In the Sacred Valley of the Incas circuit we will visit different towns and archaeological centers:

The town of Pisac will be our last point of visit, the town of Pisac has a mestizo architecture built on indigenous remains by the viceroy Toledo. The archaeological complex that forms Pisaq would have been built during the tenth and eleventh century of our era, during the period of Inca expansion and would have had urban and religious purposes.

Urubamba has beautiful views of the Sacred Valley, this will be our resting point to enjoy our Peruvian cuisine, this moment will be for the privilege of your palates.

Ollantaytambo will be our fourth point to visit, this beautiful Inca city in Peru is the only one that is still inhabited by local families. Ollantaytambo was a strategic military, agricultural and religious center to manage and control this part of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

The town of Chinchero will be our first point of visit which is located near the Piuray lagoon, Chinchero was chosen by the Inca Tupac Yupanqui for the construction of his residence, years later the present Colonial church of Our Lady of Monserrat was built.
The town of Chinchero is one of the few places in America where traditional techniques of fiber dyeing are still being used through dyes of vegetable, mineral or animal origin.
Chinchero weavers traditionally weave in double-sided technique, or double warp face creating high quality textiles and with traditional designs that reflect their experiences and beliefs, you will participate in a demonstration in which the villagers will show you these ancient techniques.
